Current product scope · explicit maturity · real application evidence

IEC 61850 capabilities built around engineering outcomes—not isolated protocol screens.

ARSAS starts from an approved endpoint, SCL source or IO List, retains identity and live evidence, and connects FAT test plans, SCL generation, monitoring, reporting, process-bus traffic, fault records, control outcomes and diagnostics to the correct IED context.

Development versus stable release

IO List FAT is documented from the current 1.6.19 mainline.

The latest published stable installer remains 1.6.18 until a separately validated and tagged release is produced. Check Release Notes before assuming the stable download contains a current-main capability.

Dedicated product pages

Choose the engineering result you need.

Each page explains the workflow, evidence available in ARSAS, current limitations and the relationship between configured intent and live device behavior.

IO List FAT

Ordered Digital-Indication Evidence

Import approved SDI points, bind them to one IED, require OFF → ON → OFF evidence, and export Excel, native PDF or a verified .arsas continuation project.

IP-to-SCL

Live Discovery to IID or ICD

Discover the complete typed model from an approved IED IP address and generate a schema-aware Edition 2 IID or Edition 1 ICD with companion evidence.

SCL conversion

Generic Single-IED Output

Open SCD, CID, ICD, IID or SSD context, preserve the source and create bounded single-IED output with structured interoperability findings.

MMS

IEC 61850 MMS Client

Connect by approved IP address, discover the live hierarchy and inspect searchable values, quality, timestamps, DataSets, RCBs and controls.

Reporting

Smart Reporting

Prefer verified BRCB or URCB coverage, evaluate exact DataSet membership, recover permitted gaps and keep visible fallback.

GOOSE

GOOSE Analyzer

Inspect APPID, VLAN, destination MAC, goCBRef, stNum, sqNum, TAL, retransmission, flags and ordered payload evidence.

Files

File Transfer and COMTRADE

Probe MMS file services, browse bounded directories and retrieve complete, partial or vendor-specific disturbance-record files with exact diagnostics.

Selected RCB

Bounded CID Export

Audit live RCB availability, preserve exact names and verified DataSet members, then export one intended Edition 1 or Edition 2 CID baseline.

Control

Smart Control

Read ctlModel, resolve live command descriptors and execute supported Direct or Select-Before-Operate sequences with visible outcomes.

Scale

Multi-IED Monitoring

Keep associations, values, events, files, controls and diagnostics isolated per device while reviewing project-wide evidence.

Project workflows

FAT, SAT, commissioning and integration

Apply the available capabilities to the project stage you are preparing for, with focused workflows and explicit evidence boundaries.

Engineering preview

Sampled Values

Per-IED SMV entry points and a viewer workflow are available for controlled evaluation. Production maturity still requires deeper decoding, binding, scaling and sustained-performance validation.

Verified stable release · ARSAS 1.6.33

Download the release-grade IEC 61850 workstation for Windows.

The current stable build includes Rev.3 IO List FAT import, an executive AS TESTED evidence report, a loaded Engineering/FAT workspace session, and direct receive-only GOOSE plus bounded SMV capture from each IED card.

Use the installer for a normal workstation, choose the portable single EXE for an approved no-install deployment, and verify the published SHA-256 before use.
