Transparent maturity · no promised dates · evidence before claims

Extend the first IO FAT evidence phase into a broader IEC 61850 test and engineering platform.

Current mainline already provides practical MMS, SDI IO List FAT evidence, Excel/native PDF/.arsas output, Smart Reporting, GOOSE, file-transfer, SCL-assisted, diagnostic and control workflows. The roadmap separates that available phase from broader campaigns and formal review features that remain planned.

Current foundation

The first unified evidence phase is no longer only planned.

SDI IO List FAT is available on the current development line, while the complete multi-service campaign milestone remains broader than this first release.

Available on mainline

SDI IO List FAT Evidence

Strict Excel import, one-IED sessions, OFF → ON → OFF proof, quality/reconnect handling, autosave, hash-chain journals, Excel results, native PDF and portable .arsas.

Available

MMS and Smart Reporting

Independent associations, live discovery, BRCB/URCB, bounded polling, quality, timestamps, SOE and diagnostics.

Available

GOOSE engineering

Read-only capture, stream supervision, ordered payloads, SCL/live binding and visible mismatch evidence.

Available

File transfer and control

MMS file-service browsing and guarded typed Direct/SBO workflows with explicit outcomes.

Available

SCL-assisted integration

Live IP-to-SCL, generic bounded conversion and selected-RCB CID export with findings.

Preview

Sampled Values

Per-IED SMV entry points and evidence workflow ready for deeper decoding, binding, supervision and performance validation.

Remaining priority sequence

Expand evidence breadth without weakening the shipped SDI workflow.

Roadmap order follows engineering value, failure visibility and reusable engine capability rather than feature-count marketing.

01

Analog indication campaigns

Add scaling, tolerance, units and acceptance bands without treating raw values as calibrated process proof.

02

Output and feedback test plans

Connect command steps to typed control evidence and process feedback behind explicit authority gates.

03

Reusable multi-service campaigns

Add GOOSE, Sampled Values, file-transfer, time-sync and control steps with cross-service evidence correlation.

04

Engineer review and formal acceptance

Add exceptions, witness fields, approval roles and a carefully designed signature model without claiming legal effect prematurely.

05

Visual SCL authoring and production-grade SMV

Deepen validated project authoring, stream binding, scaling, quality supervision and sustained-performance evidence.

Not a promise calendar

Maturity labels are stronger than speculative dates.

Features move from research to preview and available only when failure semantics, performance and engineering boundaries are sufficiently understood.

Current users first

The first IO FAT phase must remain dependable.

Future work must not make import identity, ordered transition proof, evidence integrity, Excel/PDF output or cross-laptop continuation less trustworthy.

Verified stable release · ARSAS 1.6.33

Download the release-grade IEC 61850 workstation for Windows.

The current stable build includes Rev.3 IO List FAT import, an executive AS TESTED evidence report, a loaded Engineering/FAT workspace session, and direct receive-only GOOSE plus bounded SMV capture from each IED card.

Use the installer for a normal workstation, choose the portable single EXE for an approved no-install deployment, and verify the published SHA-256 before use.
