ARSAS 1.6.35 · verify · connect · observe · preserve

Move from a verified package to IEC 61850 evidence you can reuse.

Choose Engineering for broad discovery and diagnostics, or IO List FAT for an approved workbook-driven test. ARSAS keeps the loaded FAT project in memory while you switch between both workspaces.

ARSAS first-launch workspace with Engineering and IO List FAT entry paths

Start from the approved source of truth.

Use an IED endpoint or SCL for Engineering, or an approved Excel workbook or .arsas package for IO List FAT.

1

Verify the Windows package

Download the installer or portable single EXE, compare SHA-256, and review the unsigned Authenticode status. SmartScreen may show an unrecognized publisher warning.

2

Confirm the approved network boundary

Use only the authorized laboratory, FAT, SAT or commissioning network. TCP port 102 is required for ordinary MMS. Npcap is required for raw-Ethernet GOOSE and SMV capture.

3

Choose the workspace

Select Engineering to add or inspect an IED, or IO List FAT to import the legacy sheet, Rev.3 workbook or portable project. Once FAT is loaded, switching back and forth uses hide/show without another file dialog.

4

Prove the intended signal identity

In Engineering, inspect IED, reference, value, quality, timestamp and acquisition source together. In Rev.3 FAT, preserve the exact Event Log Search Reference and keep the readable Report Display Reference separate.

5

Run the bounded workflow

For IO FAT, obtain a good OFF baseline and capture a new OFF → ON → OFF sequence. For live Engineering, begin with a known read-only point and identify whether its acquisition source is reporting or polling before expanding to files or guarded control.

6

Enter GOOSE or SMV from the IED card

GOOSE resolves the routed capture adapter and starts receive-only capture when unique. SMV opens the selected IED context and captures a bounded two-cycle raw waveform. Manual adapter selection remains the safe fallback.

7

Stop, review and preserve evidence

Retain exact diagnostics. Stop and seal the FAT session before exporting Excel, executive PDF or .arsas. Do not perform active control or configuration work without explicit procedure and authority.

IO List FAT

Fast loaded-project continuation.

  • Legacy and Rev.3 workbook import
  • Exact IEC 61850/event-log identity
  • Real smoothed preparation progress
  • Completed evidence protected during continuation
  • Excel, executive PDF and portable .arsas
Engineering

Broad IED discovery and diagnosis.

  • Complete live MMS model
  • Reporting and polling evidence
  • GOOSE and bounded SMV
  • Files, SCL and diagnostics
  • Guarded control with authority
Expected outcome

Attributable evidence—not universal device approval.

A successful observation proves the selected path produced the displayed evidence under the recorded conditions. It does not prove protection performance, all IEC 61850 services, time synchronization, calibrated measurement or conformance certification.

Verified stable release · ARSAS 1.6.35

Download the release-grade IEC 61850 workstation for Windows.

The current stable build includes Rev.3 IO List FAT import, an executive AS TESTED evidence report, a loaded Engineering/FAT workspace session, and direct receive-only GOOSE plus bounded SMV capture from each IED card.

Use the installer for a normal workstation, choose the portable single EXE for an approved no-install deployment, and verify the published SHA-256 before use.
